| Description: | During the Vietnam War, nearly every 18 or 19 y/o American male dreaded the envelope (see sample in our files) from his draft board with the "ORDER TO REPORT FOR ARMED FORCES PHYSICAL EXAM" (actual example at left). These were humiliating "cattle drives" with sometimes over 1000 men, stripped and processed. Scales rigged to assure passing weights, group naked exercise sessions, the infamous "milk em down" short arm inspections, and disciplinary immediate inductions, sometimes into the Marine Corps, made these exams events remembered by all! |
